Our Philosophy
Deeply rooted in the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-sabi (侘び寂び) a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of appreciating beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete" in nature. At the heart of her craft is a collaboration between herself and the clay to bring forth that which wishes to be created and a passion for the exploration of stoneware glaze combinations. Samantha North offers a range of experiences including group classes, private sessions, sculpting workshops, wall art creation, and bespoke tableware design.

Meet Samantha North
Samantha North started her Artistic education in her home town of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, UK, with General Art and Design for 3 years gaining a BTEC First and BTEC National. She then specialized in Ceramics Art with a 3 year Degree covering all areas of Ceramics at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, Scotland, gaining a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree with Honours.
Following this she spent 15years traveling the world and worked on various ceramics projects in a number of different countries.
Arriving to Ibiza 9 years ago when she began teaching and creating Casa Natura Ceramics Studio over the following years.
